I have a vw golf driver 1994 with a non working sunroof
The motor is not turning with the plug connected but it clicks when the switch is operated but if I remove it from the car and put 12v across the motor terminals the motor then turns however when I try to operate it manually the roof only try’s to open on one side and gets stuck, I think the cable has been worn, can I replace this cable or is it a case of a complete new roof. And will the motor want replacing?
