Breezer, I have bullguard installed recently, proper firewall and virus scanner included.

Never had any viruses and it works reliably.

I have used Kaspersky for just over 2 years now, no problems at all.
Best Anti-virus program I have tried IMHO.

I think sp? refers to the minimum service pack, you need to have installed for your operating system. For XP you need SP2 at least.

Avira AntiVir Premium stacks up well... ( there is a freeby ) Paid for vers at £12 or so.
Been using for over a year - it gets on with whatever it does.
