Dont know if you use avg ,but as of early jan next year its no longer supported (well the free one won't be)

so my question is are you going to pay for it, or get something elses, if something else, what?

Er, breezer, the free edition is already unsupported.

What happens next year is that all versions earlier than 7.5 won't be able to receive updates. The solution is to install version 7.5 free edition, which is already available.

perhaps supported was the wrong word, but the way i read it meant it was no longer available after January.

I have just downloaded v7.5
