Hi everyone,

I'm looking to replace my single integrated oven which is a Whirlpool (not sure on model - currently at work), with something of better quality that does not require hardwiring in by an electrician, i.e. it comes with (or at least accepts) a 13 amp plug.

I've been looking at Bosch (budget ~£500btw), and on certain websites they say a 13 amp plug is all that's required - and then on other websites (such as Comet/Currys/Dixons) the same model requires hardwiring in? Confused.

Anybody recommend a good reliable single oven (not necessarily Bosch) that I can simply plug in?

Thanks!

Jon.

Ones with 13 amp plugs are limited on power and use I (ie only use the grill element or fan oven element unlike some that allow you to use more than one element at a time fro browning etc).

If they are ok to plug in on a 13 amp circuit they usually come with one already fitted.

Than you for your reply.

I appreciate I may not get an all singing all dancing model with my 13 amp restriction. Just a fan assisted oven that gets up to temperature and cooks evenly would be a start. My current Whirlpool is hopeless, and never gets hot enough.

I'm just looking for something a bit better than Indesit/Candy/Hoover etc with a 13 amp plug. They seem so difficult to find!
