As I'm gutting out my whole house and replacing approx 6 toilets, I want to make sure I do this properly and since I'm responsible for selecting the fittings, could some experienced plumbers pls provide some guidance here:
1. What are the good toilets that flush solids away properly without having to reflush all the time? I mean I notice that those with a shallow and wide S trap (or whatever the proper name is) tend to block more than deeper and narrower traps. Is this the consensus?
2. I notice that the disabled toilets at work are more comfortable to sit on from a height perspective (I am by no means tall). So toilet heights vary?
3. Some toilets seem to be so small that your "bits" are almost hanging over them. Are all toilet sizes not the same?
4. What would you recommend to keep toilet maintainance costs down ie type of cistern, push button or handle etc.
Many thanks.
