It's like I said, forget the last five years, look at the last twenty. The mancs have been winning everything while Liverpool have been doing next to nothing. And they still haven't caught up with the most successful team in England.
The bad news for the mancs is the days of cleaning up with no real competition are over. From now on they're going to have to beat a properly managed, properly motivated Liverpool if they want to win things.

Of course Liverpool have been poorly managed for the last twenty years. From Souness onwards, Under Houllier and Benitez they weren't even trying to win a league. Finishing top four and doing well in europe was more important to them, which was one of the reasons I couldn't stand them. Being not good enough is fair enough, but at least fckin try.
