I downloaded this, but haven't had the time to investigate it fully.
Am I right in assuming that these extra functions/improvements only apply to the US?

Nope, I only posted after downloading and trying GE Pro.

eg. Can draw a polygon around a field or any other area (As with standard GE press r on keyboard to align north and make viewpoint perpendicular to the map) - get a report of the area bounded in square units of the usual measures.

I cannot see where it says US only.

If you look in 'Layers' in the sidebar on the left, there is a checkbox 'Earth Pro (US)'.

However, I have never used the draw polygon feature before (which also appears in the standard GE) and, yes, you are right. In GE Pro it will compute the land area.

Thank you.
