Two concerns about a recent ridge tile work
Part of my roof ridge tile was redone recently. The contractor did two things that made me worried:
1- They left bigger gaps between the tiles compared to before. They had to fill these gaps with cement. This resulted in them having to cut out 20 cm of the last tile so it fits into the roof.
2- They did not add dye to the cement mix. It now looks obviously different from the rest of the neighbors' roofs. With the increased gaps between the tiles, it seems even funnier.
Would you be worried about the safety of this work? I'm seriously concerned that this would be unsafe and not stable enough.
