Green words

Why is DIYNOT allowing green words advertising uploads which often contain viruses?

I've never seen any on here. Is it some sort of advertising because, if so, I don't see them due to Ad-blocker.

I havn't noticed them but then I have been on my hols for a week.

I have no ad blocker at all and don't see them either. Perhaps it's a problem with your computer?

We don't have green words advertising (I assume you mean ads creating links on words within the body of the page by making them green links?).

I would take a look at what you have installed on your computer either with or without your consent because it doesn't originate from our end.

Probably ad-choice from one of the social media sites, Admin.

Skype, twitter, facebook etc try to add sneaky extras if you dont un-check or check the box, could be either or both.

I had this for a little while on DIYnot.

Turned out to be malware on my laptop, and nothing to do with the site.
