We had a very short power cut yesterday (2 minutes). The boiler restarted seemingly OK, but whilst it had remembered the programme settings for HW & CH correctly, the time & date had been reset to factory settings. So no CH on when expected as the programme thought it was in the middle of the night. Surely this cannot be right? Boiler is one year old.
Thanks for any comments please. Mike

Apologies for not answering..computer issues... It is Greenstar CDi 36 compact ErP with Comfort I RF controller & thermostat.

The HW & CH temp settings are static values so can be stored in non volatile memory. However the time is not, so power is needed to keep the timer running. So onpower down you would need a small battery tokeep the clock running - maybe it does not have battery backup or the battery needs replacing.

Sorry I said temp values ; The same applies to the HW & CH programme settings - they are fixed values that can be saved to memory - the clock needs continous power.
