I came home yesterday to find that my hotpoint integrated Fridge Freezer had tripped out the mail fuse. After switching the fuse back on, there is a very loud buzzing/grinding sound. Looking at the back I have worked out were the sound is coming from. My problem is I don't know what this part is so I have a attached a picture and a video in the hope that someone can help me out...

Basically, I am hoping to find out...

- what is this part?
- is it something I can replace myself?
- how do I replace it, is it relatively straight forward?

The fridge freezer is 10 years old, but I've never had a problem with it before although recently it has be collecting water in the bottom of the fridge.

Any advice would be gratefully received...

Here's the video of it...

Not exactly sure what it is myself but suspect it is something to do with the refrigerant & replacing it will not be a DIY job.
