Hi,
I have just fitted a Grohe thermostatic mixer tap on my bath.
The hot water is heated by a back boiler on the ground floor and stored
on the first floor in a tank. The bath is on the ground floor ie 16ft below the hot water tank.
Pressure in downstairs taps on hot is good and temp is too hot to keep your hand under for more than 1 second on normal tap.
However when i turn the mixer tap on to hot the hottest the water will come out is approx 45 degrees ie not quite hot enough for a hot bath.
I realise there is a devise to stop you getting scolded but is there a way of adjusting the max water temp allowed through?
Do the thermostatic devices become faulty?
Thanks for any advise!!
