Grout colour inconsistency

There are usually 4 mains reasons this might happen :-

1. The grout has not been mixed properly before using
2. The grouting has been put in immediately after the tiles have been cleaned and has therefore been put onto a patch of water between the tiles.
3. The wrong colour of adhesive has been used on the tiles, and some leeching has taken place. For a beige grout a White adhesive should have been used. ( If your tiler has used powdered adhesive - which he should do - he will have had to have paid extra to get 'white'.
4. The grouting has been done too early, and the still wet adhesive is drawing the water out of the grout.

Has it been up long ?
