HI. ive just tiled my bathroom and bought focus and wickes ready made waterproof grout and had the same problems, the mrs thought it was my grouting technique so im glad everyone else is having the same problem. Do i mix the powdered stuff as per packet instructions to avoid the liney holey problem?

Yes, follow the instructions. You're aiming for a smooth mix the consistency of peanut butter. See the sticky in the tiling section for grouting info.
