Ok I've cocked up!

Never tiled before and as my new kitchen went together so easy thought i'd have a go at tiling too.

But since found out i'm **** at it

I've got all my tiles straight and level around my kitchen BUT....

I left grout on some ( ok MOST) of the tiles and now it's a night mare to get off

Anybody got some solutions for me?

Bearing in mind I've got a nice new worktop so don't really want to be using removers that will drip down the wall and damage it.

Any help appreciated Many thanks.

I had a similar problem, the wall tiles I just put up in the bathroom had a random mottled finish, so there was grout in the dips when you looke dup close.

I already had some emulsifying pads but found that afer numerous methods involving fine-coarse pads, mild grout removers that it was easiest to give a thorough wet wash then what was lef tto just scrape off dry. Seemed much more effective this way rather than when wet, although possibly due to it being easier to see when dry.

Also found the softer pad better as you could apply more pressure with it.

Not a fun job though :(
