I'm hoping to run some new sealant around a bath. However, the bath hasn't been fit particularly snug to the wall and there's a large gap. Last time we did this job we put some wooden beading between the bath and the wall and ran sealant over this - it didn't look particularly neat. Any ideas on how to do the job properly?

Thanks.

Is the bath tiled above?
Is it possible to reposition bath?
Dependant on gap size, it could be possible with plenty of sealant or even ex-foam to fill out pre-silicon.

Maybe this would Help, Bath Trim quadrant in long lengths to fit bath sides.("Its got our name on it") or you can get Quadrant edge Tiles that would hide the gap.

Always possible too move the bath, any other bodge will fail eventually.
