Grouting floor tiles the easy way - very quick

Hi all,

Just want to share a tip with you all.

Was grouting a large area of tiles with the grout float. THen had to use my hands for getting it into a tight corner. It went it really easy. So try grouting the rest with my hands only.

It was way quicker that the grout float. You put the grout in the gap with your fingers. You arent wasting presure and energy on drag the float around.

So best way i found and quickest is to do it by hand. Its really easy this way.

ANy professionals use this technique for flooring?

You must have tough skin, cos when I use my fingers for things like that I find my skin splits, but you are right in what you say it is easy. So is using your finger when tidying up plaster using polyfilla..Just the right radius.

nah, i did a little bit with just my fingers, but then they starting burning!

So i put on some plastic gloves and away i went. I reckon it takes 1/2 the time than doing it with a float!
