Grouting painted ceramic tiles

i was just thinking...i have painted my kitchen tiles (looks quite good) and I would like to re-grout to finish the job off....do you think that the process of grouting will damage the paint finish in anyway?

May do. Grouting is quite abrasive. Depends on the tiles, the paint and your technique. You could try and do it carefully by pushing it into the joints carefully with your finger while wearing a rubber glove, removing excess gently as you go.

Rather than smearing it all over the wall with a squeegy, letting the excess dry all over the surface, and then scrubbing at it.
