I am trying to grow tomatoes for the first time using Growbags.
Although there is no instructions on the grow bag to pierce drainage holes in the bottom of the growbag, would it be recommended that I do so. It would seem to me that not to put drainage holes in the bags would lead to water logged compost and stagnated water in the bag and resultant poor crop.
Any advice would be welcome

never known it to be a problem when ive used them, the bags are so shallow that the plants will use up the water very quickly anyway.

Avoid piercing the bags, there will be no stagnant water believe me. Tomatoes love being grown hdryopontically, they are very hungry and thirsty plants.
