Hi all,
My mum's GRP roof was done in Sept 2001. There have been some leaks that have appeared over the years.
I suspect that I have dealt with them. I ran MS polymers where the upstands meet the parapet walls (yeah , I am aware that there should have been flashing). I additionally ran CT1 over something that looked like it may be a crack in the GRP.
Anywho, I want to apply a new gel coat. I have been told that I need to wash the roof with acetone but I have no idea how much I need. At a guess it is just over 20 sqm.
Can anyone recommend a decent GPR supplier that sells green gel coat and the acetone? and that tells you how much of each product is required?
I have used a stiff brush to remove any gunge, and it currently looks pretty clean.
Tnx
