My central heating/hot water pump is an orangey/yellow coloured Grundfos pump.
I was chatting to a plumber round the other day, who said, I shouldn't have one of those fitted.
He said all the following:
It was a 'bronze' pump.
The pressure would be to great for the system.
That 'it' (?) would get too hot.
It is a hot/cold water pump.
Should be changed for a normal pump.
Although I asked at the time what the issues with that are I just got the next one down the list above...
I've come away and thought about it and I'm still not sure what the issue/problems are.
Any one shed any light?
