I have a Worcester Heatslave Combi. It's the 4th I have had in various houses and they have been reliable. The wet system has a combination of 15mm and 10mm pipework and I desludged the system last year and accidentally left the system live so it fired up without water!
Clearly the pump got very hot. It has since worked OK but I don't think I am getting the circulation that I used to despite being on speed setting 3. If the bearings survived then I didn't think pressure would suffer. Could this be affected and is it worthwhile switching the pump to improve heat distribution?
Second question is that the burner fan motor is getting a bit noisy. I believe they can be split and the bearing replaced - is that correct? Anyone done that successfully?
Regards
