In my house I have a number of GU10 downlights, they were big square white units when fitted into the ceiling and then like a square chrome cover clipped into the fitting. One of those covers fell off and broke and I tried to look for a replace clip in cover for the downlight to no avail.
My concern is that I now need to replace 6 downlight fittings to ensure consistency of appearance, in looking around I can see most downlight fittings seem to now be cylindrical which circular decorative appearance, the raises the concern in that I have big square holes cut into my ceiling I'm not a diy genius but even I have to query how a cylindrical fitting will fit snugly into a big square hole!!
Help, advice and support all greatly and appreciatively received.
Thanks
