Hi all

i baught a new light fitting and it has 6 x 9w gu10 lamps and there just not bright enough, and they take like 3min to get bright but by that time ive already walked through the room so preety pointledd

can you put normal halogen lamps (40w) into the fitting even though it says on fitting max 9w 240v? or is there any lamps that turn on instantly that i can put in the fitting?

Cheers

Reflect on the costly, but not ruinously so, lesson you have learned about the the uselessness of 2" diameter spotlights for general room illumination, and when you replace them with something designed for the job console yourself that at least you haven't got several dozen holes in your ceilings to sort out, like some benighted victims of style over function have?
