About time they were made to have insurance, road tax and as important if not more so, some kind of identification to report, catch and fine/ban these rule-breakers.
Yes, I know there are some lawful riders that obey the rules have a bell and lights on their bike and wear bright clothing but the vast majority I see are disregarding the highway code. Yes, yes, yes, car/van/lorry drivers can be guilty of breaking the law/rules.
IMO, if pushbike riders were forced to have an easily readable ID like car reg/etc, a lot less of them would break the rules.
