I have a cracked gully trap, which is causing damp on outside wall, is there a way of repairing or do I need to replace it?

replace it, a repair will never hold and it will give you peace of mind in the long run

will add to that...with a plastic gulley and rubber strap on drain connector ;) to join to the old pipe.

If the gully has been cracked by roots or by being driven over you might find that the work is covered by your house insurance. Mine was and they are replacing 4 gulleys + several pipes + further repair to the drains - total cost to me £60 excess. Total billable cost was thousands.

The bill was 1000`s because ALL builders LOVE insurance jobs  ..And next year your premium goes up

Actually it isn't going up much, I checked and it will only be about a tenner. You're right about the costs though, I'm sure they are a little higher than they should be. There is a lot of work to be done though.
