gushing sound from rad

I builded an extra room onto my house about a year and a half ago got a couple of rads installed with TRVs and i noticed recently every now and again i hear a gushing sound coming from the rad, it lasts for about 5 seconds and then goes away does anyone have any ideas what the hell is happening. THanks
