gutter brackets against shiplap

am going to use 150mm upvc shiplap to clad my garage, down the side it will cover 18mm ply, but will it carry the gutter brackets, if not any sugestions

and surely your ply, and the roofing, is fixed to a frame?

if you look round the other side you can probably drill through the ply and into the frame.

mine is.
