Hi all,

We’ve woken up to this strange line of water around the house. We are sure it’s related to the guttering because it runs directly above & the line continues where there is a step up to the house.

does anyone recognise this/know what the issue could be? We were thinking either a leak or an over flow, but strange it runs the whole way around the house. Thanks :)

Yep, could just be the frost, defrosting. Doesn’t seem like anything serious

Condensation off the fascia.

Gutters don't leak in a straight line - especially when there's no rain.

Less than a year. The guttering was brand new when we moved in. As was the roof & underlay- from what I can see it’s dry. Thanks for your reply Andy

As suggested above: its moisture de-freezing and dropping in a straight line from the under side of the gutters.
Why a straight line because as the morning warms up the icy moisture moves towards the front edge of the base attracted by the sun, it then fully melts and drops.

Its obviously not due to leaking gutters or to leaking anything else.
