This might be impossible. My 10'x7' gable style shed has a door in the middle of the 10' side. One section of the roof slopes down on the door side. The ends of the sloping roof do not extend much over the sides of the shed. I want to put guttering up. No problem on the non door side. On the door side it opens such that guttering would be in the way. So I would be left with two short pieces either side of the door each with a down pipe. Is there any other solution that somehow connects the two short pieces given that the door will open and shut? Silly of me I know!

regsmytth, and alluded to by foxhole, have come up with a solution. Why
didn't I think of that. Simple and brilliant. If I use mini guttering
and shorten the door a little I can have have a full length running
along the 10' without interruption. Many thanks.

Unfortunately catlad raising the roof would be impracticable. But making
the door open inwards would be a possibility were it not possible to
shorten the door. But thanks for the ideas.

I'm grateful for the responses. Five stars again for DIYNOT.
