What is better, square or half circle profile & black or white??

also is quality different from different brands??

I want to replace all of the old guttering as it leaks at every joint and has been repaired by previous owner with screws, etc and possible capp soffits

Guttering fails through bad installation, not because of brand, colour etc. Shape is personal preference/whats in keeping with neighbours. Although deeper/wider profiles should be used on steep roofs, or those with a large surface area.

whoever sat there and decided that it would be a good idea to make guttering square, obviously has not the faintest idea about style.

there is nothing at all wrong with black half round guttering. it is both strong and stylish.

ogee is ok but pushing it.

white square makes me want to puke! tacky beyond belief.

the old iron guttering looked great when new. just a complete pain once past its best.

I know what you mean about white.

Thing is I want to capp soffits rather then paint, wonder how black on white would look
