thinking of converting a room into a small gym to contain a crosstrainer and a weight lifting bench plus a few dumbells.
The house is 1930 and floorboards run across joists.
I'm not planning on lifting hundreds but i'd like to reduce the strain on the floorboards. any tips? Should i lay some hardboard on top of existing floor to distribute the weight?
