I want to install 8 low voltage downlights in my living room. The bath room upstairs runs over part of the living and one of the downlights would come in the ceiling void right under the bath. Would this be legal? and if it is would I need to use an IP rated fitting?

Thanks for the reply breezer, what I was concerned about was the bathroom zoning question. Under the bath above the floor is zone 0, how about under the bath but under the floorboards?

floorboards are there so the lights are in a differnt zone, zone 0 is in the bath, yours will be under ther floor
