I've got a halstead finest gold boiler about five years old. The problem is when I run the hot water some of my rads get hot.
How easy is this to repair and is it expensive?

Sounds like a fault in the divertor valve. A strip out of the valve and a component change I think to fix. Preferably a Corgi to do the work(not a well trained dog).
It does not have to be a CORGI registered person but obviously a boiler engineer rather than a plumber is likely to be more familiar with what is needed.
Its not a very difficult job for somebody who knows how to do it, but then brain surgery is easy for a nurologist.
We would charge £106 in the London area to incluse a service check.
