Hi,
I have a Halstead Finest boiler that has been regularly locking out (red LED light goes on) this winter resulting in cold showers and a freezing flat. The boiler was in the property when I moved in so it at least 3 years old.
Qualified technicians have taken a look at the boiler and the following appear to not be contributing factors to the boiler locking out:
- Pressure
- Diaphragm
- Fan
- Venturi
- Micro switches
The boiler does make an unusual noise before locking out. The clicking noise which sounds like the boiler igniting is repeated about 5/6 times before locking out.
I would appreciate any adivce/tips in an effort to not fork out a lot of money to replace the boiler.
Thanks
