My Halstead Hero Boiler won't turn off when the thermostat
is turned below room temperature.
The wall thermostat itself works correctly but is receiving a live feed across both sides of the switch.
No alterations have been made to the wiring since installation 5 years ago.
Eventually the boiler does switch itself off presumably because the boiler water exceeds its set limit. After this has happened turning the thermostat
up a little starts up the boiler immediately but turning it down does not switch it off.
Exchanging the Honeywell programmer has no effect.
Six months ago the PCB was replaced.
Suggestions please...
