Halstead Quattro, Overheat cutover device

The Overheat cutover device in Halstead Quattro has tripped twice so far in a Couple of weeks and it did once in 2002, it this normal or this is a sign of it is reaching it end of life.

No it isn't but when ANY SAFETY DEVICE OPERATES it is a sign that a Qualified Engineer is required to take a look and find out what is causing the problem, the potential causes are to many to list on here! ;)
 
Thanks for the reply, I forgot to mention that, first time it happened last two weeks was two weeks after I drained the system completely so I can treat it with system cleaner. And the second time one day after I drain the system again to inject the protector. In both cases I raised the pressure to 1.5 bar cold. Is that anything to do with it?
