Something is threaded, spindle or handle? Maybe originally a grub screw underneath? Just a self tapper now and the bottom of the hole in the end of the spindle has disintegrated. Any suggestions on repair/parts/replacement?

I'd say looking at that it's a 92pz with 122mm screw centres, overall height I'd say 205mm
If they ever bring back the game show 'You Bet!' get yourself on it :)

In actual fact it's probably a 215mm overall height but it's screw centres that a critical because the top screw goes through the middle of the gearbox

I think he's won the speedboat! Overall height is 220 including the curved ends, screw centres 122, PZ 92.

Even better for me, I just removed an old door at my house to replace with a fire door and the handle from that is a perfect fit!
