Is there a sensible solution for having a handrail on the inside of your typical quarter-turn staircase, no landing on the turn?

i.e. one which does not require me to discover a 5-axis milling machine in my shed, or pay someone sackfuls of cash to make something?

Is there a sensible solution

Yes, a ready made goose neck turn, so not a bespoke 'one-off' (i.e expensive)

The above could be made yourself using 4 mitre joints if you're not overly fussed about the curved bits. Or lots of mitre joints if you want to attempt the curves.

A wreathed turn is the only way to make it look 'proper' though...

That first one looks perfick - thanks very much.

My own searching was utterly banjaxed by not having a clue what it was called.
