Hanson clumber red brick quality

Hi does anybody know the quality of the Hanson clumber red brick and what they are like for the faces blowing on them. I am wanting to build a wall on the front of my house with these but if they are prone to blowing and are a cheap brick i wont bother using them. Thanks guys

Hi,

The Clumber Red is a decent brick, they also have a slight chamfer on the face which seems to reduce chips. They are made at their Kirton brickworks where they have a F2 durability CE certificate http://www.heidelbergcement.com/NR/...2DF77CC0F/0/hanson_bricks_ce_certificates.pdf

Hi thanks very much for the reply, finding it hard to get hold of this brick now so we have decided to go with Tobasco red which is a Wienerberger brick. They look exactly the same as the hanson clumber rec brick. Ive been told these are a good quality brick too.
