Hard Brexit WTO was supposed to be Nirvana - Not to Trump

Hard Brexit and defaulting to WTO was the Nirvana so many wanted (not because they know what they want they were simply are angry and tricked) now one of their own Brexit supporters in Trump says he is considering leaving the WTO.

So where does that leave Brexit?

I thought relying on the WTO was one of the worse options? Being part of EU is, of course, a much easier and cost efficient way to trade with the world's largest trading group.

Mind you, looks like we are hoping to trade more with Africa, so everything will be OK. We just need to help build their economies first ...

Given that brexiteers loved the backstop of the WTO, I wonder why the leaders of the biggest political/economic suicide act in history are conspicuous by their abscence?

Could it be that they privately realise that they are swapping certainty for uncertainty, and that their personal plans/ambitions are now in the hands of a person madder than they are?
