Hi everyone,

At work we're trying to sort out sealant problems where shower trays meet the shower cubicle walls (all plastic panels). The original seal is breaking down.

We could use silicone, but the original sealant also acted as an adhesive, holding the walls back via their bond to the shower tray. Also, the silicone gets mouldy quickly, the original seal doesn't.

It's a very hard, brittle compound, nothing at all like conventional sealants such as silicone. It has no movement whatsoever, no elasticity. It actually has the texture and strength of plastic, but plastic that seems to have been applied from a tube in the same way as silicone would be, around the shwer tray/wall panel junction.

Also, it's a cream/beige colour, so we'd like to get it coloured as well. Does anyone have any idea what was used so we can buy some?

Many thanks,
James
