I've heard people say before "Spanish work ethic isn't so strong as ours, but the Catalan people are very hard workers".
So, I was labouring under the impression that Spaniards didn't work as hard as we do.
I've recently met some Spaniards who are working over here at the moment. Turns out they do 40 hours a week (to my 37!), and get 25 days holiday, and nowadays forego the traditional siesta for a 1-hour lunch.
