I own a Victorian 9 inch solid brick property with lime mortar, soft bricks and lime render and plaster.
I'm looking to redo my bathroom in tiles but need to something to fill in large holes in plaster. I've always been told to stay well away from bonding or modern plasters as the construction and materials used for my house require it to breathe in order for it to remain dry and not show any damp patches. I know bonding soaks up all the moisture and disent let it go readily causing damp patches.
Is Hardwall the same type of thing and what should I be using for my bathroom?
