The walls on my bungalow are harled but have not been touched for 40yrs. Do I paint existing harling or reharl? Any advice welcome.

Also has anyone had dealings with AquaClean? They are offering a chemical clean forr the walls but i am wary

Painted harling looks terrible. You can re-harl over existing, as long as the existing is sound. I have never had any dealing with the company you mention, nor do i know of anyone who has. Have a read through all the info in the link below. Harling over the existing is my way of thinking, but it's up to yourself.

Where abouts (roughly) in Moray are you? You could expect to pay £3/4000.00 anyway. You'll have the labour (probably 3 men),,prep, scaffolding, materials, + VAT. Better getting quotes from local builders, (Elgin, Forres, Lossie) etc. Get a few quotes and take it from there. A job needs to be seen to get an accurate quote.
