Has anyone used Craig & Rose metallic paint on woodwork?

I would be interested to hear any views on using Craig & Rose 1829 metallic paint on skirtings and architraves. I'm wondering if the effect would be too over the top ( off white walls and one feature wall to be papered in dark grey and white with subtle dark metallic flowers), and also if the paint finish would look streaky and show brush marks which I know can happen with metallic paint.
