Hi all

Old ceiling rose wiring shown in pic 1, then my new setup in pic 2. As I needed to fit all the wiring inside the housing of the light fitting itself, I assume this use of connecting blocks is OK? But then I'd prefer not to assume.

They're all secure and earthed etc, but if this is in any way considered a bodge or unsafe I'll get a spark in. I figured having multiple wires connecting through the same connectors like this is the same as having them side by side in the brass ones - just better for space?

Thanks

It’s fine, providing the connections and cables are fully inside some enclosure.
Enclosure could be the base of the light fitting itself.
