I have a Reillo 40 oil burner. After it cycles and brings home up to desired temp and shuts off it immediately trips the reset button. Thermostadt will not engage and fire it back up., you have to hit the orange reset button. Once you reset it, it will fire right up and run as it should.
I have checked fuel and it flows nicely. I originally thought it might be the thermostat. I was wrong there since the problem persists even with a new one. I don't think it would be the cad since it will run properly and bring the house heat up to desired temp.
So I have good fuel flow, good spark, it runs like it should. It just goes into a lockout when it turns off. Oh and the blower will run for a short period after it goes out.
Any suggestions on the direction I need to look for fault in the system
