HE30 low hw temp

Hi All,

This is my first post and hope I don`t get flamed for asking for help.

I have a Ideal Isar HE30 (rubbish by all accounts) 3 yr old and its just started to play up.

Central heating side is fine but when I turn on the hot water, it`s only luke warm.

The burner fires up then stops before heating up fully, if I leave the hot tap running it fire`s up again only to stop again.

I have noticed the pressure gauge fluctuating when a hot tap is on.

Any suggestion`s

without a second thought blocked plate heat exchanger.

you can take out an clean but you will have to buy new o rings

or you can buy a whole new kit about £125.00 for parts & between £90.00£65.00 labour if you would like a pro to sort it. note these are my fees tho.
