Head Lights not working on a Peugeot 206

I wonder if anyone can solve this problem for me. The left headlight on dip does not work despite changing the bulb and the fuse.

Presumably, it works on main beam but not on dipped beam.

It's possible that the new bulb is faulty. You can check both filaments for continuity to see whether this is the case (use a multimeter or a continuity tester). If that's not the problem, check that there is a supply to the bulb: check that you have a voltage between the connector and earth. It's possible that the connector is giving a poor contact.
